Friday evening will have the fatherly presence of Oshea Luja as MC to move through an evening of inspiration, celebration of fatherhood and an invitation to improve how we lead our children and navigate through a world of constant obstacles and distractions that keep us from finding our greatest joy in parenting.

The evening will consist of refreshments and chance to socialize a bit before a warm welcome to Carson and Cal State Dominguez Hills by local officials. A screening of the multi-award winning short film A YEAR TO LIFE by Nikki Hevesy depicting the Heart of the Father in a moving and thought provoking depiction. Our keynote address is by a father, multi-award nominee for acting and author of the book Male vs Man. He is also the co-creator of the global Manhood Tour inspiring men to rise to the challenge of our age to responsibility and service.

This will be followed by a Q/A and opportunity to explore further the ideas addressed.

Friday October 12th is a full day of learning the whats and hows and whys of 21st Century Parenting with over 20 workshops, 30 resource organizations and 3 Heart of the Father awards presented to representative dads who have stepped up or in one case, stepped out and across the ocean to exemplify the heart that uniquely beats with a love and integrity that is fatherly and enduring.
